Frequently asked

The questions collectors actually search for.

What are Mini Brands?
Mini Brands are miniature replicas of real-world consumer products, sold in surprise blind capsules by ZURU. The original Core line launched in 2019, and the range now spans many lines, including Core, Toy, Foodie, Disney Store, Kawaii, Fashion, Books, Home, Retro, Fill the Fridge, Ballers and Really Works. This wiki's series index lists every series in our catalog.
What rarity tiers and special finishes do Mini Brands use?
Rarity tiers and special finishes are two separate things. The tiers, from the highest label down, are Legendary, Iconic, Luxury, Ultra Rare, Super Rare, Rare, Uncommon and Common, and each series uses only some of them. Finishes such as Gold, Metallic, Glow-in-the-Dark, Rose, Platinum, Scented and Frozen Moments describe how a mini looks, not how rare it is, so a Gold mini can still be Common. To check a mini, find its series and read the tier on that series' collector-guide insert. The Rare Mini Brands list on this wiki shows every rare mini by tier and finish.
What are Frozen Moments minis?
Frozen Moments are sculpted “action scene” minis: products captured mid-pour, mid-spill or mid-splash. Frozen Moment is a finish, not a rarity tier, but most are labelled Ultra Rare or higher on their series' collector guide. We haven't found published pull odds for them, so check the tier printed on the insert for your series. Our Frozen Moments guide lists them by series.
What are Create Mini Brands series?
Create is ZURU's build-it umbrella inside Mini Brands. Each capsule contains parts that snap together into a finished display piece — examples include Masterchef series, Kawaii Bouquet (tiny floral arrangements) and Charms Keychain (collectible keychain charms). Create capsules are usually larger than standard Mini Brands capsules and lean toward display rather than playset use.
What is an "exclusive" Mini Brand?
Exclusives are minis tied to specific packaging, such as advent calendars, Collector's Cases or multi-pack boxes, or to a specific country or retailer. They're usually not in regular blind capsules, but check the exact pack's description to see what it includes. On each series page, exclusives are flagged so you know where to look for them.
Why do I keep getting duplicates — are pulls really random?
Blind capsules are sealed, so you can't see which minis are inside before you open one, and duplicates are part of collecting. Multi-packs, Collector's Cases and advent calendars don't all guarantee different minis, so check the exact product for any stated guarantee before you buy. The most reliable way to stop re-buying the same minis is to track what you already own, which is what this wiki's checklist is for.
How often do new Mini Brands series drop?
There's no fixed schedule. ZURU adds new series to existing lines (Series 2, Series 3 and so on) and launches new lines, often with seasonal products such as advent calendars around the holidays. New series are added to this wiki's series index as they're catalogued.
Where can I buy Mini Brands?
In the US: Target, Walmart, Amazon and Five Below carry most lines. UK: Smyths, Argos, The Entertainer and Amazon UK. AU: Kmart, Big W and Amazon AU. Some advent calendars, Collector's Cases and Really Works playsets are limited to a single retailer in each country — each series page on this wiki links straight to current listings.
Are Mini Brands safe for young children?
Age recommendations differ between products, so check the age rating printed on the exact pack. Some Mini Brands products are rated for older children, for example 8+. Mini Brands contain small parts, and the choking-hazard warning on the packaging is separate from the age recommendation. Many are made for older kids, teens and adult collectors who display them, so supervise younger children.
A mini is missing from my capsule, or arrived broken — what do I do?
Start with the shop you bought it from and ask about its return or exchange policy. If that doesn't work, contact ZURU, the manufacturer, through the contact form at zurutoys.com/contact. Have a photo, the batch code on the capsule, and where and when you bought it ready. Whether a replacement is available depends on the retailer and the product. miniature.toys is a fan-run wiki, so we can't send replacements or look up orders.
Is miniature.toys an official ZURU site?
No. Mini Brands Wiki at miniature.toys is an independent, fan-made project created by fans, for fans. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by ZURU or Mini Brands. We help collectors explore series, understand rarities and track their collections. Product names, trademarks and product images belong to their respective owners.
